The exhibition “Video Vintage” presents some thirty videos made in Europe, the United States, Brazil and Japan in the years from 1963 to 1980, each marking an experimental breakthrough for the medium. They are the work of such crucially significant artists as Marina and Ulay Abramovic, Vito Acconci, Sonia Andrade, Jean-Christophe Averty, Joseph Beuys, Valie Export, Esther Ferrer, Ant Farm, Jean-Luc Godard and Anne-Marie Miéville, Joan Jonas, Mona Hatoum, Thierry Kuntzel, Nam June Paik, Toshio Matsumoto, Bruce Nauman, Tony Ramos, Carole Roussopoulos, and Nil Yalter.
