A2Z Art Gallery — About — Slash Paris

A2Z Art is an Art Gallery located near Paris.

Founded in 2009 by Anthony Phuong and Zi Wei, it promotes young artists and more particularly, talented artists from Europe and China. Painters, photographers, performers or using video to express themselves, they are coming from all over the world to present their artwork in the gallery but as well in art fairs and partnerships with institutions. As an example, A2Z Art initiated, in 2009, a partnership with Zendai Museum in Shanghai and in the Museum of Chengdu (China) where they organized a residency for some artists and presented a show after the residence.

The gallery is an open and free space completely devoted to the artists. For each show, the place is invested by the artist who transforms it as he perceived it.

Anthony Phuong and Zi Wei often travel to China to discover new artists and promote them in Europe. Regarded as experts and always improving their knowledge of the Chinese scene, they create exchanges between European and Asian artists, proposing a very unique point of view on contemporary art.
