Martine Aballéa — My Secret Life of Crime
Past: April 13 → May 18
For her third personal exhibition at Art: Concept, Martine Aballéa presents two new series of photographs mixing landscapes with texts, nature and ghostly worlds. They tell love and crime stories that stand out from luxuriant natural backgrounds or from negative prints of images. At first, nothing exceptional or irrational seems to be going on.

Jacob Kassay
Past: February 23 → April 6
Jacob Kassay’s pieces play, both literally and figuratively, with notions of opacity, on reflection and transfer. His monochromes are chemically produced and electro-plated in silver. They offer themselves to the spectator thanks to the interaction that takes place when he places himself in front of the canvas, as before a mirror.

I’m in Love with the New World
Past: January 12 → February 16
The End of the World, the Apocalypse, and a subsequent renewal are a few of the reflections proposed by Vidya Gastaldon on the occasion of her exhibition. Inspired and amused by ideas of planetary annihilation that often border on intellectual catastrophe and collective panic, she has set her imagination on what this new world might really look like.

Les filtres harmoniques (harmonic filters)
Past: December 1, 2012 → January 5, 2013
In his softly naïf, sometimes even slightly mannerist paintings, Andrew Lewis develops the idea of interaction between characters both human or sculpted and their immediate environment, which tends to create a group dynamic. His works show all the innovation and ingenuity that we’ve had to use to develop within the bosom of society.

Dominique Figarella — Raphael Hefti
Past: June 28 → July 28, 2012
Dominique Figarella and Raphael Hefti have developed new forms of abstraction by making use of randomness and pushing materiality into its very limits. Their works are canvases as much as time-bomb-sculptures, in a material mayhem featuring failure, experimentation and rough-handedness.
