Canaletto — Guardi — Les deux maîtres de Venise
Past: September 14, 2012 → January 21, 2013
Thanks to some generous loans, the Jacquemart-André Museum is now devoting an exhibition to the Veduta for the first time in France, a genre of painting epitomised by Canaletto and Guardi. It is a very under-represented artistic genre in French public and private collections, which makes Canaletto — Guardi, the two masters of Venice a must-see event.

Le crépuscule des pharaons — Chefs-d’œuvre des dernières dynasties égyptiennes
Past: March 23 → July 23, 2012
Egypt was invaded on a number of occasions during the thousand years before it was conquered by the Romans and thus opened up to a range of influences. This is the first exhibition to be devoted to the treasures of the last dynasties: over 100 exceptional artefacts demonstrate the breadth and diversity of Egyptian art after the last Ramesses Pharaohs.
