MAC/VAL is presenting a group of works by the group Information Fiction Publicité (IFP) ; three letters for three notions to define a new theoretical territory for thinking about art and the state of the world. The exhibition will highlight the ways in which, beginning in the 1980s, IFP anticipated and questioned the domain of the possible in art.

Jesper Just will offer MAC/VAL’s visitors with a new artistic and cinematographic experience. Through the nature of their lighting, the strangeness of their settings, the absence of a clear narrative, and a refusal to use dialogue, Just’s films are transformed into captivating “visual poems”, strange moving tableaux.
