Stefan Shankland — Le Monde change l’art...
In 9 days: Tuesday, June 4 7 PM → 8:30 PM

Past: Thursday, May 16 7 PM → 8:30 PM
From each built space comes a second hollow space from which the materials are extracted. This truism allows us to imagine the actual volume of the hidden sisters of architecture: quarries, mines… a cliché reminding us that every action produces its direct double print. Unless we consider the city as an open air quarry.

Koenraad Dedobbeleer — Workmanship of Certainty
Past: January 18 → March 31
*_Dysfunctional Sculptures_*
The sculptures of the Belgian artist Koenraad Dedobbeleer (born 1975) work like simulacra of functional present-day objects. Because they are placed in an exhibition context and hence freed from their useful function, they exist as ambiguous supports that are made available for interpretation.

Boris Achour — Séances
Past: April 13 → June 3, 2012
Séances is a new addition to the Conatus series that Achour began back in 2006. Plunged in partial darkness, a range of elements form a setting/ landscape that visitors are meant to wander around for 45 minutes. Films, sculptures, sounds… yet not a single actor or live event: the combination of formal elements makes this art piece more akin to a show or spectacle.

Renée Levi — Cursif
Past: January 14 → March 27, 2011
