Fermin Aguayo — Présence habitée — Présence réfléchie

The gallery presents a retrospective exhibition of the Spanish painter Fermin Aguayo entitled “Inhabited Presence, Reflected Presence” at both the right bank and left bank spaces of the Gallery. This exhibition retraces the itinerary of a great painter who died prematurely in 1977 at the age of 51, and whom the gallery has promoted ever since the 1950s.

The two-part exhibition marks our commitment to an artist whose work we have been following for over 20 years.

The Galerie Jeanne-Bucher presents a selection of exceptional paintings from the 1990s including the 100 Layers of Ink series. Yang Jiechang’s work was shown outside China for the first time in the 1990s, when he became known for the series of works entitled “One Hundred Layers of Ink”.
