If a predominant stream of 20th-century art consisted of fragments of disparate images, Aldridge has artistic fun disassembling and even seemingly exploding her hand-crafted elements across gallery floors and walls.

En atelier, je m’intéresse à la représentation de ce qui échappe à l’homme : l’exploration des abysses, l’aventure spatiale et la quête alchimique sont des sujets qui animent mes recherches plastiques. Guidé par les cosmogonies du savant Robert Fludd, les encres et les récits de Victor Hugo, je produis des séries inspirées par la recherche scientifique.
